Miami – South Beach and Crandon Park

The fine folks at miami kiteboarding where very helpful however they were unable to get me out riding at one of the few places available when the wind is blowing from the North West. Limited access to Beaches and riding locations. If the prevailing Northeast wind is up then you can pay the cash to ride at Crandon Beach

Islamorada

Islamorada is one of the Florida keys and sits just 90 minutes south of Miami International Airport. Its easy to navigate yourself in a rental car from the airport, with quick access to the Florida turnpike which will take you south to Islamorada and the Keys.

Wasaga Beach – December 5th, 2012

Absolutely awesome riding this afternoon. Its incredible to cruise the waves of Georgian Bay while you look over to see the Blue Mountain range and all the ski runs which have a dusting of the white stuff

Orilla – Kitchener Park – December 15, 2012

What an awesome day out on the rolling waves of Lake Simcoe. With a gusty South East Wind blowing, we decided to hit Kitchener Park in Orillia. After an hour of cruising the rollers coming into the bay supported by 15 knot winds, we knew this was the right decision.

IceKiting – Lake Simcoe – January 12, 2013

It was the middle of January, but it was going to be 11 degrees above zero. It had been above zero for days and raining, the lakes were a mess. With temperatures this warm, I was thinking about open water, especially since the lakes were all mush. Not knowing what we would find I put everything I could fit into the truck

Snow Kiting – Bass Lake – February 2013

The first session of February was a spectacular outing on Bass lake. The melt of the previous week had taken nearly all of the snow away and with about 3-4 inches of snow on top of the hard ice surface it was just enough to keep an edge and cruise the frozen lake....

Snow Kiting Adventure – Lake Simcoe

We were to go on a down-winder. Starting in Beaverton and kiting around Thorah Island and then up and back to Orillia. When we arrived at Beaverton Harbour we saw these crazy ice vehicles made by Bombardier that the local Ice Fishing outfitter uses to cart people and their gear back and forth from the parking area out to the ice huts.

Hatteras, April 2013

If you haven’t been to the Outerbanks (OBX), Hatteras, North Carolina – get there – whatever you have to do – its a must do kiting trip. Its not possible to fully describe how much fun it is to kite everyday, in the wide-open Pamlico Sound with miles and miles of waist deep, warm ocean waters. We rented a house with a group of friends and kited, ate, and laughed for a week solid.

Cuba 2014 – April

Cuba can be both one of the most relaxing and the most exhilarating vacations. That is if you bring your kiting gear and rip the waves and ride the flats that go on for miles and miles. After a sweet session sit back on the chez lounge and sip a cool drink while taking in the scenery and feeling the ocean breeze.
